NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It has been assessing the electrical competence of electricians for over fifty years and currently maintains a roll of over 26,000 registered contractors.
Why NICEIC?
Choosing an NICEIC registered electrician is the best way to ensure a safe job. Electricians registered with NICEIC are assessed on a regular basis to ensure high standards and their work is checked against the IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671 as well as other standards.

The NICEIC offer customers of NICEIC Approved Contractors a PLATINUM PROMISE
Platinum Promise can take necessary steps to put work right in the event that an installer is no longer registered, or has ceased trading.
The Platinum Promise can be used if:
– The contractor was registered with NICEIC for the type of work undertaken at the time the installation was complete
– The work has been fully completed within the last six years.
